Daria is a graduate of Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service where she majored in International Politics. She has experience at the UN Development Program and International Labor Organization in Geneva and has worked as a culture writer for Al-Monitor and Artnet News in New York. She was previously a Youth Ambassador for UNICEF and a TeachUNICEF Committee Member at Georgetown, receiving a Young Leaders Award in Recognition for Service to Global Communities from the Central Asia Institute and a Certificate of Appreciation for Exceptional Leadership from the U.S. Fund for UNICEF.
As a member of the Steering Committee, Daria has focused her efforts on the Syrian refugee crisis and UNICEF programs in the Middle East.
Daria is working towards her Masters degree in Journalism at New York University where she studies Cultural Reporting and Criticism.
