UNICEF Ambassador Lucy Liu recently traveled to Lebanon, where she met with Syrian children and families who had fled the violence in their homeland.

“It is a children’s crisis,” Ms. Liu said, as she visited a makeshift refugee camp in the Bekaa region of Lebanon. Children in the camp have no water or toilets, are playing in rubble, and have scabies and lice. But more than anything, she said, “they desperately want to go to school.” UNICEF’s efforts to help children affected by the crisis in Syria are severely underfunded. Yet Syria’s children desperately need our assistance. Please join Lucy Liu and the U.S. Fund for UNICEF and help Syria’s children. Text SYRIA to 864233 to donate $10, or visit our donation page.
