Workplace Giving and Employee Engagement

Find a greater sense of purpose at work by supporting UNICEF's work to help every child grow up healthy, hopeful and safe.

Supporting UNICEF is a chance to showcase a company's goals while providing individual employees the chance to help save children's lives. UNICEF works in over 190 countries and territories, responds to over 300 emergencies a year and has saved more children’s lives than any other humanitarian organization. Collaborating on an internal campaign with UNICEF USA helps employees gain perspective and become more compassionate and informed global citizens.

Workplace giving

A workplace giving campaign is an easy way for your company's employees to directly fund UNICEF’s lifesaving work for children. Each campaign can be tailored to fit your company's needs and philanthropic goals, including:

Automatic payroll contributions

Employees can spread their contributions to UNICEF USA throughout the year with automatic payroll contributions that are tax deductible.

Employee giving programs

If your company partners with employee giving programs BenevityGlobalGivingGlobal Impact or United Way, employees can direct their funds to UNICEF USA through our Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) number: 12182. If UNICEF USA is not in the local listing, write in UNICEF USA.

Gift matching

By matching gifts, your company can double (or even triple) the impact of your employees’ support and show that you care about the charitable causes important to your employees. See if your company has a matching gifts program with UNICEF USA.

Emergency response fundraising

UNICEF responds to an average of 300 emergencies each year, providing both immediate and long-term support to children and families. When a disaster strikes, UNICEF USA provides the tools for your company to quickly engage employees and give them the opportunity to make a difference for the causes they care about.

Employee engagement

UNICEF USA’s employee engagement is designed to give companies and their employees an opportunity to not only financially support UNICEF’s work, but also to be advocates for children around the world. In doing so, our hope is that employees learn about the challenges vulnerable children face and come to feel more connected to the work we do to mitigate those challenges.

Through compelling discussions, informational workshops and other interactive events, UNICEF USA helps raise employee awareness of critical issues while providing the tools needed to help them become more conscious, global citizens.

Inspire Employees with an Experience-for-Good

Invite your employees and their families to UNICEF USA's Heart Strings, a multi-city, first-of-its-kind experience designed for all ages. The experience will serve as an engaging opportunity for your employees to travel around the world in just 45 minutes and learn about UNICEF’s efforts to ensure every child is healthy, educated, protected and respected. Help us ignite advocates of change by strengthening emotional connections between your U.S. employees and children of the world. Learn more and purchase tickets here.

Employees exceeded this goal by walking, running and biking 1,600 kilometers (over 994 miles).

Prudential Financial: UNICEF Week

Prudential Financial hosted a UNICEF Week across their U.S. offices to celebrate a “$3 million over 3 years” grant to UNICEF’s emergency response and preparedness work. This week included informational sessions hosted by UNICEF senior leaders, virtual program visits and an opportunity to write cards to refugee children arriving in the United States.

Google: Health campaign

For each flu shot Googlers received, they donated $25-30 to UNICEF’s immunization programs. Googlers’ donations were matched by Google.org, raising a total of over $600,000 for children globally.
