VIDEO: UNICEF Helps Children Fleeing Sudan's Civil War

Meet 7-year-old Retaj, one of millions of children displaced by civil war in Sudan.

More than 9 million people have been pushed out of their homes by Sudan's ongoing civil war. Seven-year-old Retaj and her family have taken shelter at Zamzam Camp for the internally displaced in North Darfur, where access to food and water remains limited.

"I want to go to the second grade and then the third grade, and to become a doctor to treat sick people," Retaj says. "But now I just want the war to stop."
