Ashley

Ashley is from the sunny state of Florida, where she attends Florida International University and studies Economics with a minor in International Relations and a certificate in Haitian Studies. She believes children should live in a sustainable world with opportunities that enable them to thrive and grow in their communities, and that is why one of her various professional interests is focusing on the economic development of improvised nations and communities. At the same time, she continues to advocate for mental health resources and ending gun violence. Additionally, she is a part of her school’s Model United Nations competition team. Outside of UNICEF USA, you can find her on top of a mountain or pursuing a random adventure. She loves to hike and has hiked Machu Picchu; hiked the Pyrenees in Spain, aqua trekked in Barcelona, hiked trails in Honolulu, Hawaii, and backpacked on the mountains of Montana, to name a few.
