Elijah is a junior at UW-Madison interested in pursuing a career that demonstrates the incredibly paramount intersectionality between environmental science and international relations. Throughout the numerous organizations and programs, he has participated in, his most notable experience has been with B.R.A.V.E. Youth Leaders, a youth activist group in Chicago. From participating in public demonstrations to creating PSAs and films that advocate for ending gun violence and implementing neighborhood development initiatives, he is a highly involved member of each community and social space he represents. Through his newfound position on the UNICEF USA National Youth Council, he hopes to uplift youth voices and encourage other young people to shape the world they live in. Through his network, he has received praise from the Mayor of Chicago, Lori Lightfoot, and Former President Barack Obama.
