In Malawi, girls don't typically get the chance to attend secondary school — in part because of secondary school fees. Join UNICEF USA and MSNBC's "The Last Word with Lawrence O'Donnell" in an effort to provide scholarships to support ambitious, eager young women as they complete four years of secondary school. A K.I.N.D. Scholarship can make all the difference.
The K.I.N.D Fund Scholarship Package
The K.I.N.D Fund Scholarship Package includes payment for school-related costs such as tuition and fees, school materials (including bags, uniforms, socks, shoes, sanitary menstrual products, teaching and learning materials) and boarding fees as well as transport from their home to school and back.
At school, further support in the form of mentoring and psychosocial guidance is also provided to improve attendance and learning outcomes.
