NextGen's Newest Project
Water is a Human Right. UNICEF’s Water for Guinea initiative, championed by Andy Astrachan, aims to deliver safe, clean water to hundreds of thousands of children. After proving that manual drilling is the most cost-effective and sustainable approach to creating access to water in 2017.
NextGen, along with several lead champions, are working to secure the funding UNICEF needs to scale this work in two of the most rural parts of Guinea to give children a healthier start to life, girls more access to education and the community members greater economic opportunities. NextGen committed to raising a total of 200K in support of these programs, but upon this committment, our first 100K raised has been generously matched, ultimately allowing NextGen to contribute a total of 300K to Water for Guinea at the end of this project cycle.
