Sterling McDavid is a New York City based interior designer and entrepreneur. She is the Founder of Sterling McDavid Design, an interior design and residential development firm with projects across the country. Her work has landed her on top designer lists including Luxe’s Gold List. She is also the founder of home fragrance brand Starling Project. Prior to launching her companies, Sterling worked for renowned architecture firm Projectiles in Paris and prior to that was an analyst at Goldman Sachs. She has been involved with UNICEF for over a decade spending time in the field in Vietnam, Rwanda, Kenya and Mexico. In 2016, Sterling was awarded the President's Volunteer Service Award from President Barack Obama for her outstanding work for children with UNICEF. Sterling resides in New York City with her husband Carey Dorman and their son Quinn. She has a finance degree from University of Texas at Austin McCombs School of Business as well as an interior architecture degree from Parsons School of Design.
