Faith-inspired Partnerships
Like UNICEF, faith-inspired organizations understand the importance of serving the world's most vulnerable populations
Faith communities and faith-inspired organizations are among the world's most trusted and enduring forces for positive change. Through their deep community roots, moral leadership and commitment to serving others, they help advance the well-being, dignity and rights of children around the globe.
UNICEF recognizes that many faith traditions share values that resonate with its mission, including compassion, human dignity, justice and care for those facing the greatest challenges. These shared commitments create opportunities to work together on behalf of children, helping them survive, thrive and reach their full potential.
UNICEF USA partners with U.S.-based faith-inspired organizations, congregations, denominations, networks and leaders to advance UNICEF's work for children worldwide. Together, we educate, advocate, mobilize resources and raise awareness around the issues affecting children and young people. Our partners engage in many ways—from responding to humanitarian emergencies and supporting long-term development programs to participating in interfaith dialogue, thought leadership and collective action for children.
At the heart of our approach is a commitment to building long-term, trust-based relationships that honor the unique traditions, perspectives and strengths of each partner. By bringing together faith-inspired organizations across diverse traditions, we seek to foster an interfaith community united by a shared commitment to improving outcomes for children everywhere.
