Supporting the UNICEF Tap Project

Since 2007, the UNICEF Tap Project has helped children worldwide gain access to clean water. In 2011, through the UNICEF Tap Project, Next Generation helped fund water and sanitation (WASH) programs in Togo, Vietnam, Mauritania and Cameroon‪. Thanks to Next Gen’s contribution, UNICEF helped educate people on proper hygiene and sanitation in Vietnam; install and monitor hand-pump wells in Togo and Cameroon; and support programs focused on proper hygiene for school children in Mauritania. In 2014 UNICEF NextGen supported the Tap Project once again by matching $100,000 donated through the Tap mobile experience.

This year, NextGen has once again decided to blow Tap out of the water by raising $150,000 to support UNICEF programs working with school and communities in more than 100 countries around the world to improve access to safe water, sanitation facilities and to promote safe hygiene practices.
