Iliana Alvarenga
Iliana Alvarenga is a competitive intelligence strategist at Ernst & Young LLP, where she helps global teams differentiate in the marketplace and win strategic pursuits. Prior to EY, she was at JPMorgan Chase, helping inform market strategy and business development.
A dedicated advocate for children’s rights, Iliana has been actively involved with UNICEF USA since 2010. She served as Chair of UNICEF NextGen Chicago for eight years, where she grew the community’s reach and fundraising impact, and today serves on the UNICEF USA NextGen Leadership Council, helping guide the organization’s next generation of philanthropists and advocates.
Iliana’s passion for social impact is rooted in her family’s immigrant story and early experiences traveling to Colombia, Venezuela, and El Salvador, where she witnessed inequities in access to education, healthcare, and essential resources. These formative experiences drive her belief in the power of collective action to create change for children everywhere.
Iliana now lives in Brooklyn, New York, where she enjoys building community, teaching Pure Barre, and bringing people together over good food, movement, and connection.
