Religious Leaders Join Together in Their Commitment to Children

The Commission of Religious Leaders commemorates World Children's Day with 10 calls-to-action on behalf of children around the world.

On Monday, November 20th, 2017 World Children's Day celebrations, appeals, and calls-to-action will launch across the globe to adovcate for the next generation, their rights, dreams, and voices. The Commission of Religious Leaders is commemorating this important day in an appeal to communities to join hands in a call-to-action on behalf of children around the world. Signed on behalf of His Eminence Timothy Cardinal Dolan of the Archdiocese of New York Rev., Dr. A.R. Bernard, Sr. of the Christian Cultural Center Christian Community Relations Council, Rabbi Joseph Potasnik of the New York Board of Rabbis, and Rev. Dr. Jimmy Lim Commission of Religious Leaders, the appeal proposes 10 actions that can be taken by faith-based and other communities to support children's rights and voices.
