The UNICEF USA seeks talented individuals from all backgrounds to join our fight for child survival.
UNICEF USA Staff
Our staff is a diverse group of highly capable and committed individuals who bring a wide range of professional experiences, both nonprofit and for-profit, to bear on our mission.
We are an equal opportunity organization and our core values—Trust, Respect, Accountability, Innovation, Teamwork and Service—guide us in how we carry out this mission each day.
Diversity and Inclusion Statement
UNICEF USA embraces the attributes, characteristics, and perspectives that make each person unique. We respect all differences, visible and invisible, and challenge prejudice and bias that consciously or unconsciously target people from all walks of life. Just as we are dedicated to the principles of diversity and inclusion, we expect our staff, partners, volunteers and supporters to commit to these same values.
At UNICEF USA, we believe that the benefits of diversity and highly engaged employees can propel an organization to dream, communicate, build, and create in ways thought to be unimaginable. We value and incorporate the diverse experiences, perspectives, ideas, and backgrounds of our employees to build a solid foundation that enables us to achieve our mission For Every Child.
Be Cautious about Emailed Job Postings
Our organization acknowledges that there has been an increase in websites and emails imitating UNICEF USA (UUSA). All open vacancies at UUSA will be posted on https://www.unicefusa.org/jobs. Please disregard any emails that refer you to a different website.
All recruitment requests will be from a ‘unicefusa.org’ email address. UNICEF USA will not request sensitive personal information (i.e. social security) over the phone or by email.
Offers of employment or job openings with requests for payment of fees are fraudulent. The scammers' request for the payment of fees may come only after you have accepted the fraudulent offer. UNICEF USA does not charge a fee at any stage of the recruitment process (application, interview meeting, or any other fees). Any requests for such payment or information should be refused. If you have already sent money, then you should report this to your local law enforcement authorities for appropriate action.
Global Citizenship Fellowships
UNICEF USA launched the Global Citizenship Fellowship in January 2012, uniting and empowering American youth and volunteers in service on behalf of children around the world. The fellowship is a highly-competitive, full-time, two year program that prepares diverse, committed, and globally minded individuals for effective leadership in public service.
A limited number of internship opportunities are available in our New York City National Headquarters for current university students.
Interns support UNICEF USA in a variety of areas including fundraising, marketing, and communications as well as general research and administration.
