

UNICEF USA paid internships
A limited number of paid internships are available for current students interested in the nonprofit and international development field. Interns will have the opportunity to learn about UNICEF and UNICEF USA's work, develop transferable skills, expand their network, and make meaningful contributions toward UNICEF's mission.
What to Know
UNICEF USA recruits summer interns once a year.
- Internship dates will be listed in the job postings.
- Interns are paid $17.50 per hour.
- Internships last for 12 weeks, and interns may work a maximum of 30 hours per week in the summer.
- It may be possible to receive course credit for internships.
- Internships can be remote or hybrid. Interns will need access to the Internet and a computer.
- Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and enrolled in a degree-granting program. All interns must possess valid authorization to work in the United States. UNICEF USA does not provide sponsorship.
- UNICEF USA does not offer international internships. All interns must work from the United States throughout the duration or their internship.
- All interns are expected to make their own arrangements for travel and lodging, and living expenses during the internship period, if necessary.

The Internship Experience
- You will join an intern cohort and receive invites to intern-specific events and workshops, as well as organization-wide events.
- You will be paired with a dedicated manager/mentor and have access to the wider UNICEF USA network.
- You will discover and learn to hone your natural talents using Gallup's CliftonStrengths® tool.
- You will have the opportunity to learn about UNICEF USA's work and meaningfully contribute to our goals.
