Daria Daniel

Daria Daniel is a Senior Executive at Crest Investment Company, a diversified global family office that invests in and operates businesses across media and entertainment, technology, hospitality, real estate, mining and energy, with offices in New York, Washington, Houston, Los Angeles, and Geneva.  

At Crest, Daria oversees the company’s portfolio of digital media assets, including AL-MONITOR, a leading independent news site on the Middle East founded in 2012.

Daria previously held roles in the editorial departments of Artnet News and The New York Times in New York, developing expertise at the intersection of global culture, media and journalism. She studied International Law at the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University, and earned a Master of Arts in Cultural Reporting and Criticism from NYU’s Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute in 2016.  

Daria's commitment to UNICEF spans nearly her entire life — from high school through college, and into leadership roles on both the Next Generation Committee and the Leadership Council. She has traveled to Jordan on behalf of UNICEF to support programs serving refugee populations across the Middle East and has been recognized by the U.S. Fund for UNICEF with awards honoring her dedication to global communities. Beyond her humanitarian work, Daria sits on the World Monuments Fund's International Council, where she champions the preservation of cultural heritage sites worldwide.
