Oluwafemi "Femi"

Oluwafemi "Femi" is a Nigerian-American student and aspiring international lawyer. This is her first year on the National Youth Council. Drawn to UNICEF’s commitment to global child advocacy and sustainable education, Femi co-leads her school's UNICEF club chapter to promote equitable access to resources. Through dedication to her school’s Mock Trial and Model UN teams, Femi strengthens her public speaking and legal knowledge skills, both necessary for protecting children's rights in her future. Living in Georgia, Femi is committed to civic engagement. Outside of UNICEF, she serves on the Georgia Campaign for Adolescents Power & Potential (GCAPP) Youth Advisory Council and volunteers at her local cooperative ministry and the YMCA. Furthermore, she spends her time teaching the gospel at her church and spending quality time with her family.  In Femi’s free time, she enjoys watching a variety of sports from F1 to tennis and volleyball, and she is a lover of theater.
