John O’Farrell
John is a general partner of Andreessen Horowitz. He serves as a board member for public and private technology companies operating in cloud software, mobile communications, Internet of Things, data and analytics. His venture capital investments include Slack (NYSE:WORK) and PagerDuty (NYSE:PD). He is also a national board member of UNICEF USA, and of Karam Foundation, which invests in young Syrian refugees so they can build a better future for themselves and their communities.
John has an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he graduated as an Arjay Miller Scholar, and a Bachelor of Electronic Engineering from University College Dublin. A US and EU citizen married to a Brazilian, John speaks English, French, German and Portuguese. A native of Dublin, Ireland, he lives in the San Francisco Bay Area.
