Janet E. Truncale

Janet Truncale is EY Global Chair and CEO, leading one of the world’s largest and most globally connected professional services organizations. She oversees 400,000 EY people across more than 150 countries and territories, guiding the organization’s global strategy and operations and supporting clients at the intersection of business, risk and change. A trusted advisor to Fortune 500 CEOs and boards, Janet is known for her perspective on transformation and growth in a rapidly shifting global landscape. 

Prior to becoming Global Chair and CEO in 2024, she spent more than 30 years at EY, holding senior leadership roles across the audit, financial services and global client service businesses. She previously served as Vice Chair and Regional Managing Partner of the EY Americas Financial Services Organization. Janet joined EY as an audit intern. 

She serves on the boards of UNICEF USA and the New York Jobs CEO Council and is Board Chair of Women’s World Banking. She is also a member of the World Economic Forum International Business Council, The Business Council and Business Roundtable. Janet has been recognized as a top business leader by Fortune, the Financial Times and Forbes. Janet holds a BSE in Accounting from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Columbia University.
