Ginny Brewer is the co-founder and was an owner of Rexer-Parkes, Inc. from 1988 until 2003. Rexer Parkes was one of Atlanta’s leading women’s specialty clothing stores in the Buckhead area. Rexer-Parkes received many awards including the DIVA Fashion Award in 1997 as Women’s Contemporary Retailer of the Year. Currently, Ginny serves on the Board of Trustees as well as the Executive Committee for Atlanta Ballet. She also serves on the Board and Development Committeeof G-CAPP (Georgia Campaign for Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention), the Foundation Board of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, the Atlanta Advisory Council for Savannah College of Art and Design, and on the Advisory Board of Earth Share of Georgia. Previously, Ginny has served full terms on the Board of Trustees for the Atlanta Botanical Gardens, Zoo Atlanta, and Performing Arts Program for Youth (PAPY) as well as Chairman of the Board for First Presbyterian Preschool. Additionally, Ginny supports the following community not-for-profit organizations through her leadership roles in chairing events and serving on fundraising committees: Ansley Park Beautification Foundation, First Presbyterian Church, Piedmont Park Conservancy, Georgia Organics, the Horizon Theatre, The Paideia School, and Theatrical Outfit. Ginny was born and raised in Natchez, Mississippi and is married to Charles M. Brewer. They have three children and reside in Ansley Park.
