UNICEF and Johnson & Johnson: Teaming Up to Help Mothers and Children
Children are taking over on November 20 for World Children's Day. They're stepping up and speaking out on behalf of children's rights, with a little help from UNICEF and Johnson & Johnson (J&J).
For more than 30 years, J&J and UNICEF have worked together to improve the lives of children and their families globally, with a mutual commitment to paving the way to a healthier future for mothers, newborns, children and their communities.
Since the collaboration began, UNICEF and J&J's work in 20 countries and territories has reached hundreds of thousands of women and children with lifesaving assistance. J&J's new $10 million commitment will strengthen health systems through the training and empowerment of frontline health workers and the development and implementation of innovative tools to help bridge health access and health equity gaps.
By establishing UNICEF as an enterprise-wide global partner, J&J is demonstrating its commitment to putting the health of children first. Because every child has the right to live a happy, healthy life.
