Wigdan

Wigdan is from Indiana and is currently a double major in Global Health and Biology at Duke University. Her family is from Chad and Sudan. Her passion for global health, advocacy and equity inspired her to join UNICEF USA. Recognizing the challenges children face globally — from a lack of access to education to limited health care — Wigdan felt motivated to dedicate her time to this meaningful organization. She believes in the importance of using her voice, education and skills to improve the health, education and well-being of children and communities worldwide. Outside of UNICEF, Wigdan enjoys traveling with family, exploring the field of medicine and playing soccer.
