Sreeja - Midwest

Sreeja is a current double major, studying International Business and Law & Compliance. Her goal is to pursue a J.D. and Doctorate with a focus on Human Rights. Outside of school, she is an avid advocate for women  and children’s rights, specifically focusing her efforts on marginalized communities and caste-based issues in India. Outside of UNICEF, she works on journalism centered around human rights violations and enjoys spending time in nature with her dog and trying out new food spots. Through her role in UNICEF USA, she will continue to advocate for those who have been stripped of their voice and to create a nurturing environment for children to thrive in, focusing her efforts on advancing the fight for equitable education for all, health care access and support for those affected by war and political and climate-related displacement.
