Becky - Great Plains/Central
Becky is a high school senior in Colorado. She cares deeply for social justice and child rights, having co-founded an international tutoring program at the local UNICEF Club chapter at her school to expand educational opportunities across the globe, with further participation in local volunteering and fundraising events. One of her main interests is spreading music education to underserved communities, whether it is through National Music Honor Society, her role as a student representative for the Denver Young Artists Orchestra, or even just performing at local events with her quartet. As a passionate leader of Speech and Debate who has brought a feminist lens to Policy (CX) debate and highlighted the Asian American experience through POI, she leverages her public speaking skills to advocate for and empower others to find their voice. She hopes to pursue a future at the intersection of international relations, education and human rights. Outside of advocacy, Becky enjoys skiing, artistic swimming, traveling and learning new skills.
