Amina - Northwest
Amina is a 21-year-old from Washington and Egypt, studying Public Health and Data Science at UC Berkeley. She focuses on Epidemiology and Global Health Equity, with a strong commitment to ensuring equitable access to pediatric health care for youth in underserved and displaced communities. She plans to pursue a career in global infectious disease research, working at the intersection of data, advocacy and health systems. On campus, Amina is involved in public health research labs that center on community-led health solutions, particularly regarding outbreak control and health care in human rights conflicts. She is passionate about cross-cultural dialogue and amplifying youth voices in global policy. Outside of her advocacy and studies, she enjoys attending concerts and festivals.
