Jazmine, a student at Barnard College of Columbia University, is a passionate advocate for children's rights. Originally from California, she is proud to work with UNICEF USA, aligning with the organization's values to empower underrepresented groups through various advocacy and policy initiatives. Jazmine has served as a Mental Health Policy Specialist for the Youth Power Project, driving policy, research and education to reform mental health policy. She is also a dedicated volunteer with the YWCA San Gabriel Valley and the San Gabriel Valley Regional Center, and serves as a member of the Harvard SOPH Youth Corps. Her commitment to global gender justice is evident through her role as a Youth Advisor for Girl Up USA, a United Nations Foundation initiative. To further her impact, Jazmine is majoring in Political Science and Public Policy, with a goal of promoting justice and opportunity in the policy field. In her free time, she enjoys running, baking and painting.
