tap-acqua-for-life-logoGiorgio Armani Fragrances has returned to help children around the world get clean, safe water, as the National Sponsor of the UNICEF Tap Project. Now in its seventh year, the UNICEF Tap Project has a new digital concept. This year’s initiative will live on a Facebook app, making it even easier to donate to help UNICEF provide clean, safe water to kids worldwide. With the help of our friends, we can turn the world’s largest social network into a water network—raising awareness about the world water crisis and providing funding to help provide water, sanitation, and hygiene education to children and families around the world. On March 1, for the fourth consecutive year, Giorgio Armani Fragrances launches its month-long “Acqua for Life” campaign. The campaign provides a number of ways for people across the country to join the company in raising funds to support UNICEF’s water, sanitation and hygiene programs for children. Acqua-di-Gio-300With just $5, UNICEF can give one child safe drinking water for 200 days. From March 1-31, Giorgio Armani Parfums will donate $5 to the United States Fund for UNICEF for each Acqua di Giò and Acqua di Gioia Collection (Acqua di Giò, Acqua di Gio Essenza, Acqua di Gioia, and Acqua di Gioia Eau Fraiche) spray cologne or gift set purchased in the 50 United States, Puerto Rico or D.C. through authorized distributors. Additionally, the company will donate $1 for the first 50,000 people who "like" the "Acqua for Life" Facebook page at www.facebook.com/AcquaforLife during this time period, with a minimum guaranteed donation of $500,000 from all Acqua for Life promotions during the campaign. The U.S. Fund for UNICEF is grateful for the ongoing support of Giorgio Armani Fragrances and for its efforts to raise awareness of the world water crisis and provide funding for UNICEF’s clean water programs for children worldwide.
