Microsoft: i'm Helping Kids Survive
Microsoft's i'm Initiative is an easy way you can support some of the world's most effective nonprofit organizations—including UNICEF. Simply use Windows Live™ Messenger, or Windows Live Hotmail® to communicate with your friends and family online, and Microsoft will donate a portion of the program's advertising revenue to the participating organization of your choice.
Once you've joined the i'm Initiative, any time you have an IM conversation using Windows Live Messenger, or write an email with Windows Live Hotmail, you help advance the issues you feel most passionate about, especially saving children's lives. Since 1990 Microsoft has generously matched its employees' donations to the U.S. Fund for UNICEF, and we are proud to be a founding organization in this effort. We hope to count on your participation.
There's no catch. There is no fee for joining or using the program; you simply select UNICEF as your organization when you join. Microsoft will then make a donation on your behalf every time you use Messenger or Hotmail. It takes just a few minutes to join, so you'll start making a difference with your next instant messaging conversation.
You'll also have access to unique icons and wallpaper designed specifically for UNICEF. And you can also add a custom link to your outgoing emails that lets everyone know about your commitment to saving kids lives and gives the recipients the chance to do the same.
Even if you already use Windows Live Messenger or Hotmail, be sure to join the i'm Initiative and help UNICEF save more children's lives.
