Help us save some lives!

The George Harrison Fund for UNICEF and ACUI Campus Challenge

UNICEF has partnered with the Association of College Unions International (ACUI) and the George Harrison Fund for UNICEF in a nationwide fundraising challenge on campuses  from September 5, 2008 to February 28, 2009. With your help, we're hoping  campuses will raise $150,000 by February 28, 2009, and your fundraising efforts will then be matched, dollar for dollar, by the George Harrison Fund for UNICEF.

Campus Challenge Zero Line and Button

25,000 children under the age of five die every day, mostly from preventable causes. Disease, malnutrition, dehydration and conflict all too often destroy children before they have a real chance to fight.

Raise awareness and funds throughout November culminating on November 20th the International Day for the Child—to celebrate children’s basic human rights, from the right to be free from exploitation, to the right to an opinion, to the right to education, health care and economic opportunity.
