Board Advocacy Retreat

Every year, the Mid-Atlantic Regional Office and the Office of Public Policy and Advocacy welcomes Regional Board Members from across the United States to march on Capitol Hill to put children first. The Advocacy Day entails a brief training by the Office of Public Policy and Advocacy to equip Board Members and guests with the right tools and resources to speak with Representatives and Senators. Our Regional Board Members do more than just talk about legislation; they tell the legislators about our domestic efforts such as UNICEF Kid Power and Trick or Treat for UNICEF. They also inform legislators about UNICEF activities happening back in their States and Districts.
