Susan Nethero

Currently, Mrs. Nethero is a managing director with Golden Seeds, an angel investor network that is focused on funding women-owned businesses nationally. Susan and her husband David also founded the Atlanta chapter to fund female entrepreneurs in the SE. Aside from her mentorship and investments, she is serves as board member for Executive Women of Goizueta School of Business at Emory University. She served as a director and also on the Governing Board and Foundation board of The Committee of 200, an invitation-only membership organization of the world’s most successful women entrepreneurs and corporate leaders. Susan is Board member for UNICEF SE 2016 and is co-chair for the nominations committee.

 

She was the founder and CEO of Intimacy, a retail chain of lingerie stores that is known for its personalized bra fitting. Mrs. Nethero has appeared as on national shows such as Oprah, Dr. Oz, The Today Show and others. The business was sold to a strategic European buyer in 2015. Prior to Intimacy, Mrs. Nethero spent 20 years in the corporate world with executive marketing and strategic assignments for Marketing Corporation of America, Time Life Video, and Xerox Learning Systems.

 

She has been active with The National Charity League and is a former director of Bauder College. She graduated from the University of Connecticut in 1975 with a BA in marketing.
