Brannigan Thompson is currently serving in the role of SVP, head of Organization and Leadership for Voya FinancialTM, a premier retirement, investment, and insurance company serving the financial needs of 13 million customers in the U.S.  He serves as a member of the Leadership Council and also the company's youngest SVP. In addition, he is also the Executive Sponsor for the company's Mentoring Advantage Program, serves on the Community Investment Review Committee, and is also a change agent for the Continuous Improvement initiative recently launched.

Prior to this role, Brannigan worked three years as the Global Manager of Executive Performance and Rewards Strategy at the Company's Global headquarters in Amsterdam, Netherlands, working to design a new Executive Rewards strategy and compensation structure for ING Group's Executive Board members. Domestically, in early 2000, Brannigan worked as an Executive Compensation Consultant with Towers Perrin (now Towers Watson), where he spent majority of his tenure on Executive Compensation and Total Rewards projects.

Brannigan is also heavily involved with Voya's Corporate Community Foundation initiatives serving on local Boards such as UNICEF and UNCF (United Negro College Fund). He was also a recipient of The Network Journal's, 40 Under Forty Achievers for 2014 and has been named Atlanta’s Man of Influence by the Atlanta Tribune magazine for his impact in the community.
