A belief in human dignity, a dedication to end injustice and a commitment to care for the marginalized are core principles that unite many communities of faith. These principles are also essential in effecting change around the globe to protect children, help them survive and thrive.
Faith-based organizations and religious groups are important partners in UNICEF's work to protect children. UNICEF works very closely with religious communities around the world whose tenets support the safety and well-being of all people, especially of children.
Like UNICEF, faith-based organizations understand the importance of serving the world's most vulnerable populations.
UNICEF USA works with faith-based partners who are headquartered in the U.S. to fundraise, advocate and raise awareness in support of UNICEF’s global work. Our partners range from individual congregations holding a year-end fundraiser in response to a natural disaster or emergency, to an entire denomination committing to make a collective and transformational impact through their dollars and voices, to interfaith networks joining together to raise awareness and advocate on behalf of children.
Our faith-based partnerships are customized to the interests of your congregation or organization and your vision for the impact you want to have on the next generation. We hope you will join us in partnership and impact for the world’s children!
