Next Generation Atlanta Steering Committee
Sarah Parker is Counsel at Turner Broadcasting Systems, drafting, negotiating and advising on technology, content license, and advertising agreements for Turner and CNN. She is grateful for the opportunity to work with UNICEF through its NextGen program to advocate on behalf of the world's children.
Sarah was born and raised in Atlanta, graduating from The Westminster Schools in 2005. From there, Sarah earned an undergraduate degree from Columbia University in Art History and Classics in 2009 and a JD from Vanderbilt University Law School in 2014.
Upon returning to Atlanta in 2014, Sarah served as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Orinda D. Evans in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. Following that opportunity, Sarah was an associate in the Trademark & Copyright group at Alston & Bird for three years. During this time, she assisted clients in trademark and copyright enforcement and litigation (including adverse proceedings before government agencies such as the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board), trademark and copyright prosecution, false advertising litigation, and advertising clearance.
