Next Generation Los Angeles Steering Committee
Kimia Ghalambor is a real estate attorney and practices at a boutique firm in Beverly Hills. Prior to joining her current firm, she worked in commercial real estate at a big-law firm and was a tax consultant at a big-four accounting firm. Kimia is a double Bruin at heart -- she attended the UCLA School of Law specializing in Business Law and previously graduated from UCLA with degrees in Business-Economics, French and Accounting. She currently serves as a board member of the UCLA Department of Economics Associate Board in addition to the UCLA Law Alumni Board of Directors.
Kimia grew up traveling around the world from a very young age and witnessed the severe effects of natural disasters and poverty inflicting children early on. While attending law school, she dedicated herself to ameliorating conditions for kids in underdeveloped countries through human rights clinics with the Office of the Prosecutor at the International Criminal Court, field-work and research with victims of violence in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Rwanda. She continues her passion in this area as an active member of the UNICEF Steering Committee in Los Angeles. She hopes the youth of our generation who are struggling for safety, health and education receive the basic needs they deserve and adequate support from the international community.
