Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF at "Googleween"

Google and the U.S. Fund for UNICEF celebrated Halloween together this year. As part of their annual "Googleween" party for employees and their families, Google invited Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF to their Mountain View, CA and Chicago, IL campuses. I was thrilled to don my own costume and provide a fun and accessible way for the Google family to help save children's lives.

Google.org team in Mountain View, CA including Meryl Stone, U.S. Fund for UNICEF's Esther Choi, Aya Okuma, Jennifer Haroon, Joanne Stevens (from L to R).
The Google.org team backed me up by wearing Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF t-shirts and educating colleagues and their children on the program. Google employees were excited to pick up Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF boxes, along with buttons, stickers, and hyper-colored pens. Some employees texted in donations or handed out bills right there! Google also communicated the program across 12 of the Mountain View campus cafeterias with flyers and stack of Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF boxes. There was similar visibility in the Google Chicago office, including a Google employee dressed up as the Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF box!

It was great to see interest and enthusiasm from influential folks at Google and we appreciate their staff support! For all the pictures from Googleween (including some crazy costumes), go to our flickr page.
