Migrant families trek through the snow in Syria.

Our CEO Has a Message for the Next U.S. President

"Dear Next President, Congratulations on landing the world's toughest job. Now I want you to take on the world's toughest crisis."

*** Revised data: The number of children forced from their homes by war and poverty — migrants, refugees, displaced — is now nearly 50 million. We are experiencing the largest humanitarian crisis of displacement since World War II.***

Thirty million children are on the run in the world today. How many is that? If you counted every kid in California, Texas, New York and Florida, it still wouldn't add up to 30 million.

They need food. They need shelter. They need education. Whatever labels you call them by—refugees, displaced, migrants—they are children first.
