Are you a college student looking for opportunities to work and network within the UNICEF Clubs Program?
Then you should apply to be a delegate in the UNICEF USA Clubs College Consortium!
The brand-new Clubs College Consortium aims to unite fifty passionate college student delegates accross the U.S. to learn about and discuss topics such as UNICEF's lifesaving work, career guidance, and leadership development skills. The program seeks to not only quip students with the networks and skills needed to serve as global citizens and leaders for children's rights but also to improve and establish new college campus clubs across the nation.
"UNICEF Clubs has meant the world to us; it has given us a voice in our own communities and on a national level. It has given us the mobility to advocate, speak out about the issues we care about and to put children first. The College Clubs Consortium is our way of reaching out to give others the same opportunity. We want to give other young people a space to unlock their potential."
Each month, the Leadership Development Team of the UNICEF USA National Council (along with occasional guest speakers) will plan and deliver digital sessions to delegates to pave the way for future leaders and children's rights champions. Sessions will run from October 2019 to April 2020.
"Historically, we've had more representation from high school than college clubs, so we wanted to implement a program that helps college students with career development and global citizenship."
In addition to gaining the opportunity to connect with other Consortium participants, delegates will also become a part of the UNICEF USA Clubs College Consortium Alumni Network. This network unites young leaders together for UNICEF, for children, for the world.
Applications are open until October 12th at 11:59pm. Email council@unicefclubs with any questions.
