Children in Iraq: Tough task for those in the field

UNICEF has been serving kids on the ground in Iraq since 1952. UNICEF provides clean water and supports health and nutritional activities through local and UN partners. UNICEF recently delivered school materials for primary school students, immunized children against measles, and treated children for malnutrition. Conditions for Iraqi children affected by violence and displacement have reached a critical point, UNICEF said today.
