Gheed Mohammed Nafea

Gheed Mohammed Nafea is a proud Iraqi American Muslim woman who values her family, education, and values. With a passion for helping those in need, she is an aspiring healthcare physician working towards her goals as a freshman at The University of Georgia. Majoring in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Gheed has a love for learning and is on the pre-med track. She is proud of her heritage and works to improve herself and positively influence the status of children across the world. Constantly grateful for her privileges, Gheed is incredibly motivated to aid in the educational inequality crisis many children face. She works with various organizations, including her nonprofit, Striking Summit, to counteract this issue.
