Mr. Shahida is the co-founder of Constellation Capital Management LLC. Constellation is a credit-focused investment management firm established in 1999 and has historically invested across the emerging markets, high yield, distressed and investment grade sectors.

Prior to establishing Constellation, Mr. Shahida was the Global Head of Credit Trading and Syndicate, as well as the Regional Head of the Fixed Income at Paribas (now BNP-Paribas).  In this capacity, Mr. Shahida was involved in extensive investments and lending throughout the emerging markets and industrialized countries. 

Prior to joining Paribas, he was the head trader of the emerging markets debt-trading group at Chemical Bank.  He began his career at the World Bank in 1981 where he held various responsibilities including Chief Credit Officer for the Investment and Swaps departments.

Mr. Shahida holds an MBA from George Washington University and a BS in accounting from Syracuse University. He is a Board Member of Rutgers Masters in Quantitative Finance program and is very active in a number of civil and philanthropic venues.
