Kenneth Saffold is a Managing Director and a member of Blackrock's Global Credit Platform where he is responsible for originating and executing private credit investment opportunities across the US. Kenneth also serves as an Investment Committee Member for the BlackRock Impact Opportunities Fund as well as on the Senior Leadership Team of the BlackRock Atlanta Innovation Hub. Prior to BlackRock, Kenneth held roles with GE Capital and Goldman Sachs.
In addition to his work on UNICEF Southeast Board of Directors, Kenneth currently serves as a Member of Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Investment Committee and a Member of the Atlanta Zoo Council. He also serves as the Vice President of the Executive Board of Directors for Northside Youth Organization (NYO) and formerly served as Chair of the Emory Board of Visitors. Kenneth is a Member of Leadership Atlanta Class of 2017 and is a frequent speaker and panelist for the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG), Health South Connect, and Capital Roundtable of New York. Kenneth received his MBA from The Wharton School and his BA from Morehouse College. Kenneth lives in Atlanta with his wife Akilah and two kids, KJ and Eva, age 13 and 8.
