The Humanitarian Crisis in Yemen
Advocate on Behalf of Millions of Yemeni Children
The ongoing crisis in Yemen is one of the world’s most complex emergencies. After more than three years of violent conflict and social and economic upheaval, more than 12.3 million children in Yemen are in dire need of humanitarian assistance, and the situation is only worsening.
Two million children are out of school in Yemen today, including almost half a million who dropped out since the conflict escalated in March 2015. Urgent efforts must be made to prevent an entire generation of children in Yemen from missing out on their education.
Now, more than ever, it’s time for the U.S. Government to serve as a leader in protecting the innocent children of Yemen.
