Help save the lives of children in the Philippines

The Philippines remains on high alert as Typhoon Hagupit (or Ruby) continues on its path across the country. Just 13 months ago, Super Typhoon Haiyan—one of the strongest storms ever to make landfall—brought terrible destruction. More than 6,000 people died. Nearly 6 million children were affected. It is estimated that at least 400,000 children have been affected by this latest storm.

A year ago, UNICEF provided children and families with desperately needed water, health care, nutrition and protection. In advance of Typhoon Hagupit, UNICEF pre-positioned emergency supplies include water and hygiene kits, water purification units, school tents, medical supplies and generators, and is now dispatching aid to the hardest-hit areas. UNICEF will continue to work with the Filipino people—helping to reopen schools, fighting malnutrition and working to reduce the risk to children.

Please support UNICEF's work in the Philippines: $50, $100, $250, $500 or any amount you can give will help save kids' lives.
