Help Children Affected by Violence in Iraq
Children across Iraq are under siege. Armed groups have targeted them and their families.
Some confront acute shortages of food and water. Schools and hospitals have been destroyed and damaged.
Children also risk separation from their parents, injury from improvised explosive devices, and exploitation and child trafficking.
An estimated 3.25 million Iraqis have fled their homes. More 11 million people —including 5.1 million children — need immediate humanitarian aid.
UNICEF is providing Iraqi children with safe spaces and lifesaving aid, including water and sanitation, food, medical kits and vaccinations, and special care for pregnant women and lactating mothers. UNICEF staff also help children reunite with family members, obtain psychosocial support and gain access to education.
Your gift will help children survive and recover from the brutality they've endured. Please donate today.
