Chelsea Peters

Chief Regional Strategy & Operations.

 

Chelsea is responsible for designing and executing UNICEF USA’s strategy to rapidly scale revenue, engagement and advocacy outcomes in major U.S. markets. She oversees all 9 Regional Offices, Regional Boards and teams leading Major Gifts, Special Events, Regional Institutions, UNICEF NextGen and Regional Community Engagement. Chelsea is charged with optimizing organizational resources and impact to drive local fundraising and grow UNICEF’s base of supporters championing children around the world.

Chelsea has served in various roles at UNICEF USA, with the majority of her tenure as Chief of Staff. In this capacity she provided strategic leadership and support to the President & CEO, managed the National Board of Directors, and worked with key stakeholders domestically and globally to raise vital financial and public support for UNICEF programs.

Prior to joining UNICEF, Chelsea taught English in Paris, France. She has been selected to Fortune's Most Powerful Women NextGen, is a founding member of Chief and serves as a Three Dot Dash Mentor for global teen entrepreneurs. She studied at the SIT Institute in Geneva, Switzerland and received her BA in International Relations from Bucknell University. She played NCAA Division I Lacrosse and is currently on the Board of the Lacrosse Business Network.
