Brett Robinson is Chief Financial and Administrative Officer at UNICEF USA.
Brett Robinson is the Chief Financial and Administrative Officer for UNICEF USA. In this capacity he works with partners throughout the organization to develop its strategy, and to ensure that its financial, human capital and physical resources are effectively and efficiently invested to maximize results for children around the world.
Prior to UNICEF USA, Brett served as the Executive Vice President of Finance and Administration for Brooklyn Public Library, the fifth largest library system in the United States, serving the 2.6 million residents of Brooklyn. Among other things, he developed and financed a plan to reconstruct over a third of the system’s 60 libraries, and expand hours of service from 5 to 6 days across the system.
Brett started his public service work with the City of New York, where he developed a $1.5 billion capital program to reduce greenhouse gas emissions through building energy improvements as part of the Mayor’s Office of Management and Budget. He also worked across City agencies to develop an enterprise approach to technology management as a Deputy Commissioner for the City's IT agency, including consolidating the City’s datacenters and developing an enterprise IT vendor management program.
