Vice President, Corporate Partnerships
Ava Volandes is a social impact marketing executive with extensive experience in developing and implementing cause related strategic partnerships. In her current role as Vice President, Corporate Partnerships at UNICEF USA, Ava co-leads the corporate partnerships team and overseas the team in developing and managing strategic partnerships with companies to raise funds and awareness for UNICEF across a variety of channels, including Corporate Philanthropy, Cause Related Marketing, Employee Engagement, and Event Sponsorship.
Before joining UNICEF USA in 2015, Ava worked across several industries, creating strategic integrated marketing partnerships and campaigns with a focus on social impact. As Director at Incite Impact, Ava worked with clients to increase brand awareness and social change through local radio, live events and online marketing.
Prior to this, Ava held senior marketing positions at a variety of companies. This included serving as Senior Vice President, Marketing at Loyalty Exchange Partners, where Ava managed strategic partnerships for the start-up’s loyalty based retail program to give back to schools with brands such as SUBWAY, Verizon and Foot Locker.
As Vice President of Strategic Marketing and Alliances at BMG Entertainment, Ava created global marketing programs with companies such as American Airlines, ESPN, and Motorola.
Ava also founded her own consulting firm, where she developed marketing campaigns to increase awareness for organizations in the health, education and environmental fields.
Ava has over 20 years of experience in both the corporate and non-profit sectors, with a constant focus on cause related partnerships. Ava has also been extensively involved with volunteer work, having volunteered with Taproot Foundation, Net Impact and New York Women in Communication. Ava received a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Boston University. Ava lives in New York.
