Jim Barber

President, UPS International

Jim Barber has served as President of UPS International since 2013, with responsibility for UPS's service offerings in more than 220 countries and territories outside the U.S. He is leading the company's next wave of international growth that includes UPS's growing investment in emerging markets, including the creation of the ISMEA operating district to capture opportunities in south-to-south trade in the Indian subcontinent, the Middle East and Africa.

Jim previously served as Chief Operating Officer for UPS Europe, Middle East and North Africa. He joined UPS as a delivery driver in 1985 and like many UPS executives, worked his way through successive positions in finance, accounting and operations management in the U.S., Belgium, Germany and the United Kingdom. 

Jim holds a degree in Finance from Auburn University. He serves as a member of the UPS Management Committee, which is responsible for day-to-day management of the company, and on the UPS Foundation Board of Trustees. He also represents UPS as a delegate at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. Additionally, he sits on the Board of South Carolina Folks Center for International Business.
