Steve Eaton currently oversees private equity investments for his family and continues as an active board member of various private companies. He has been a successful P.E. investor over the past 23 years with a focus on healthcare services and technology. Steve was a co-founder and Managing Director of EDG Partners where he helped approve investments as well as work post-investment to ensure portfolio companies maximized their potential.  Prior to 2001 he was an entrepreneur and CEO, leading the company he founded through a successful public offering before its eventual sale to a private equity firm.

Steve has wide experience as a trustee of various not for profit and philanthropic organizations. He served as Chair of Saint Joseph’s Hospital in Atlanta and led its merger with Emory Healthcare where he subsequently served as a trustee.  He also served as a trustee of Open Hand Atlanta and Mercy Care in Atlanta.  Steve has been a longtime trustee of Greater Atlanta Christian School as well as Chair of the GAC Foundation.

Steve served on the UNICEF USA Southeast Board from 2010 - 2021, also serving as its Chair for a 2 year term.   From 2018 - 2021 he served as a member of the board of Impact Fund for Children (IF4C). He was privileged during these years to participate in field trips to Nepal, Jordan and UNICEF’s distribution center in Copenhagen.
